I have a storm door about 2yrs old and one of the two pumps isn't working. The one with the button built in to hold the door open it seems to be stuck in the open position so the rod is all the way out I tired to release it but the button is stuck. Any suggestions. Thanks

It happens with those sometimes. Esp if the door will not open far enough, due to the other closer, to allow the button to release.

You may be able to remove the stuck closer, put a small screwdriver or similar through the hole in the rod and extend it far enough to release. Don't grab the shaft of the rod with pliers or similar...just pull from the end.

The button is only pushed to lock, release is automatic when the rod is extended slightly by opening the door, then letting it close normally.

If it doesn't release, you will probably need a new closer. They are normally available from the manufacturer of the door, if its an odd color, you may have to go that way.
White and black can be found at most home centers and hardware stores.
