Hi, I recently hired some people to redo our windows in our home. They switched out our windows and in the process had to cut the wires to the sensors. They said they hooked up the wires back correctly but the sensors no longer work on all our windows and doors. Do I have to reset the system some how to get them to work again? Is it possible they killed the system completely? Any advice will help, thanks in advance!

I suspect that your old windows had magnetic switches in the frames and magnets on the moving parts. More likely as not the window company re-installed the switches but forgot to install the magnets.

yep= chances are the switches were not installed in the new windows
