i have a 2008 kawaski and a plastic piece from the gas can came off and went into the gas tank. any idea how to get it out? help!!

Try to drain the fuel out then if you can see it grab it with a mechanical finger. I don't think you can get the tank out without splitting the hull.
How big is it? If it's a big chunk it might not hurt anything.
