Hi,
I just recently purchased and installed a Concord 4 panel. I have a few questions about programming:
1. For sensor groups, I used group 10 for my front entry door, and group 13 for windows. Is this correct?
2. When I arm the system, and open my front door, the outdoor siren starts up after 30 seconds, which is how i want it, however, when I open one of my windows, the siren also goes off after 30 seconds. Is there a way to make it go off immediately since it is not an entry door?
Thanks

Those are the correct sensor group/zone types. Are you sure that the window in question isn't wired into the same zone as the entry exit doors?
Otherwise, I'd say to double check your settings.
You _are_ waiting long enough for the exit delay to time out? It runs even in stay arming mode.

Is the siren wired to an output? Depending on the programming of the output, there may be a 30 second delay programmed....

They're wireless sensors. When I'm testing them, I am arming it to away with no delay.

Yes, it is wired to output 1, which is programmed to a config. number of 01614.

Also, I have the phone and voice module, is there a way to configure it so that the speaker connected to it would not go off immediately when the entry doors are opened, and only when windows are opened?
This is how I would like both the outdoor siren and interior speaker connected to the voice module to function. Thanks.

There's your problem...try 01610

Unless you are arming to no entry delay time, the doors should not be going off as soon as you open them (assuming they are in group 10), and the windows should be setting the alarm off right away (assuming they are in group 13). Thanks, I'll switch output 1 to 01610 and test it tomorrow as everyone is asleep over here. I have my entry delay time set to the default 30 seconds.
For the phone and voice module, I have it wired up exactly as the manual says. How do I configure it to go off immediately only when windows are opened? Thanks

There is no configuring the speaker hooked up to the phone module (since you are in essence jumping a pair of wires from the panels speaker output, which is not configurable). My hunch is that you may be arming to AWAY but not leaving through a delay door. The system them essentially bypasses the windows (because they are in group 13) and drops down the STAY mode....

Well I found out what I was doing wrong, I made a noob mistake and thought that arming with no delay meant that there would be no exit delay only. I didn't know "no delay" included the entry delay. Thanks for the help!

I have a Concord 4 with phone/voice module set up to dial a cell phone/pager in alarm condition. Is there some way that I could program to only dial while armed to away and not in stay, so as not to tie up a phone line while at home?

Not really...
What you could do, is turn off Opening and Closings and turn on Alarms (under pagers in programming)...

Thanks for the response,
I checked (system programming, phones, pager1) and the opening/closing reports are off but I did not see alarms-the high level reports are on if that is the same thing. I should have explained my problem better.
My cellphone (ATT) will play a message if I do not answer that says "to page this person press 5". I programmed my cellphone number+pause+5 into pager1 hoping that I could get trouble code(s) if an alarm occured. This does not work but does show show that "home" called and I can call back and check the problem. This is great while I am away but if we were home and had an intrusion or fire, I would not want the system to seize the line while I am trying to call 911.
I am not sure if this is an option but I wondered if I could have 2 partitions, one for day and other for night, but did not know if you could use the same sensors for different partitions.
I am not sure how to program conditions for the 2 outputs but I suppose I could also buy a voice dialer assuming the outputs could be programmed only to work when armed to away.
I hope that this makes some sense.

Yes, High Level Reports are alarm conditions...
Your pager needs to be able to handle a numeric page. The panel sends out a 6-10 digit number (depending on whether you send the account number with the page). Look in your user manual for a description of what these numbers represent. If your cell phone can do this, you may have to play around with the number of pauses you may need to program...
It's older technology (the numeric paging), you may want to look into Alarm.com for more advanced functionalilty with your Concord....
