We have oak hardwood floors with oak baseboards and casings in our home. Plus an oak mantel and oak kitchen cabinets. I really want to install white baseboards, but I'm questioning if it's ok to leave everything else the way it is. Will the new white baseboards clash with all the oak in the house?

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Welcome to the forums!

IMO the base trim should match the other trim. If the base is white, the casings/jambs should be white. Since you already have matching oak - I'd leave it as is.... and it is a higher end look.

But you are the one that lives there and unless you intend to sell in the not too distant future - do what pleases you with the house decor.

I also think you should keep it consistent. If you look throughout a few rooms, that way it will all blend. Also, it would be a pain to repaint the white baseboard later without getting the paint on the oak.
