Pools, Spas and Hot Tubs - Saltwater pool question

Hi There!

Last year we changed our pool pump to a saltwater system and had no troubles. Our pool was clean with minimal effort for the whole season. This year we are already having troubles and it is only July!

Up in the Great White North here, and us Canucks have only a few good months to enjoy the swim season!

I have a cloudy pool with the bottom showing signs of green algae. I have been vacuuming and yet the water is cloudy. Can I, or even should I use some of the 'normal' pool chemicals to correct the issue?

We have been dealing with bouts of high rain with cool temps to the complete opposite the next day with high heat and humidity...Having a tough time getting a grip on the pool...

It shows low chlorine and the PH is also slightly low, everything else seems ok....:wall:

Any suggestions?
