We're in the process of building the shell for an outdoor kitchen on a covered patio. We've attached the cement backer board, and taped and mudded the seams, as well as the metal corner channels. The finish coat on the front and sides will be stucco. I'm wondering the best way to get clean, square corners with when applying the stucco. Any advice is is appreciated!

One way is to clamp a 1by to the areas you want straight and square. Not sure why you need that yo begin with. If you are talking about and inside corner then do one side at a time. A lot of this is by the skill and eye. I'm an old mason and we never really used anything but our trowels and eyes. If this is a return corner then it can be done one side at a time with temp board.
