Needing some professional advice.
We have(had) a Baby's Breath plant in the garden area here in Iowa. It sat by a large rock with some other plants and always came up sometime in April or early May, I believe.
This year, later than it normally comes up, I was doing my husbandly duties with my little Mantis type tiller and accidentally (that's accidentally) went over the top of the area where the plant normally comes up. It wasn't like I was digging up green shoots - a little decapitated bulb looking thing came flying out, but it was dried and very dead looking. I had tilled about 1 1/2 to 2 inches deep.
I have the death of the plant hanged around my neck for eternity.
What is the verdict of the pros? (If it's in my favor please provide at least one credential).
Thanks a lot,
Bob
