the front of my garage currently doesn't have any lights on either side of the door, I want to install 2 lights on the front of the garage.
Will it be safe to tap into the light fixture on the side of the garage that powers the motion light on the porch with 14-2 wire and if it is should i use a junction box or is it okay to simply tie them all together in the electrical box for each, from the porch then feed over to the second light and run another wire from the second light to the third light.

Not seeing your exact situation, but going from your description, you are wanting to illuminate not only your porch light, but the two on the front of the garage at the same time, is that correct? If your porch light or fixture on the side of the garage are accessible, and they are operated by the switch in question, all you would need to do is tap into the light on the side of the garage and wire in the other two lights. They would all be operated by the same switch. Hope that came close. If not, or there are other circumstances let us know.

Yes, that is what I am doing. I'm tapping into the porch light at the side to supply power to two new lights on the front of the garage... will 14-2 wire be sufficient to power the two new light fixtures, and is it okay to just tap in to the box for each light, and run to the next light?

sure, just be sure to wire the fixtures in parallel, not in series.

will 14-2 wire be sufficient to power the two new light fixtures Only if the breaker is 15 amps.

To parallel at each light would the best method be to use a small pigtail at each light?

To parallel at each light would the best method be to use a small pigtail at each light? You really wouldn't need a pigtail unless the lights had screw connections. Just put the wire going in, wire going out, and wire from the fixture in the same wire-nut. If a metal box you will need to pigtail the ground wire to the box, or use a pass through green wire-nut, or a wire-nut with grounding pigtail.
