This is very easy to find information. I typed in , buy factory remote controls , in the Yahoo search box. and found a number of sellers that sell factory original remotes. One of the sellers , **************Has the owners and operations manual for the rc 64 for free , it tells how to use the auto scan function and also has remote codes. <><><><> Also it was easy to find the Sony B1 , on E-Bay , I found one with the owners manuals for a starting bid of $2.95. <><><><> YES you can buy almost any original factory remote and for not much money. And yes a lot of information is free.

Thanks for the info, I'm all set, up and running just fine.
Do you have any recommendations on a good all-in-one programmable remote that I could purchase to reduce remote clutter in the rooms where I have televisions?
Something that would handle all the functions of the flat screen, cable, satellite and a couple of peripherals?
Needs to be fairly easy to use to accomodate elderly people not familiar with tech.
Thanks, Doug
