Can I install indian slate 12 x 12 california gold tiles outside in front of entry door on solid concrete slab in Toronto? The temperature difference is from -15 to 100F.

What is the condition of the slab? Weather is not really an issue, since the slate was dug up from the ground..... Quality is a issue however. Put a tile or two in a bucket of water and let it sit for a day or two. If the water turns muddy, then that tile is junk.
