One area of my ingound vinyl pool liner has a section (approx. 4 square feet) that has withstood my attempts to clean. The algae there has withstood several shockings. The rest of the pool is perfectly clean.
The brush I use has no effect on it at all. This section is in the deepest part of the pool (~10') of course.
Any suggestions ?
Thanks.

mustard algea, get the proper algeacide at store and treat according to label.

If its algae it should brush off. Get a closer look by using a mask and dive down with a stiff sponge or your fingernail and see if you can get under it. If that doesnt do anything it may be a stain in the liner or something growing underneath.
