Hi all! I am new to this web site, just found it last couple of days and have been reading non stop. I am very interested in getting a start, or seeds for Impatence capensis (spelling is probably wrong) otherwise known as jewelweed, or touch-me-knots. After years of progressively worsening poison ivy bouts, I've been earnestly searching for this plant. Books and websites indicate that this plant can be grown in Northeast TX, along with it's opposite in nature the dreaded poison ivy. Knowing that I have the healthiest poison ivy in the world, my hopes were that I could get and maintain what soon would become my favorite plant in the world. I have looked all around my area for this plant without success. I would love to hear from someone who could let me know the difficulties of this plant, and possibly where to get some. Known to some as a pesky weed, I do believe it would be a treasure to me. Thank you
