I replaced a carburetor and the new one is slightly different. It has a small vertical spring (the spring is less than 1/8" in diameter and approximately 1/2" long) on the choke lever which holds the choke plate in one of three positions. I need to remove the spring and wanted to know just how is it attached.

I think those little springs are just pressed in... It should just pull out with sidecutters,,,,, Roger
