I have a 1964 40hp evinrude outboard. I changed the water pump, it is still not pumping water at the exhaust hole. lots coming out the bottom just not the top. is this normal for this model or is their another problem??:madhell:

Pull the thermostat cover and see if there is water getting to it, if not make shure there isn't a crack or blockage in the water tube.
