Hi: I had 150' of newly planted 6' & 8' wild cedar trees installed yesterday along my stockade fence. I put a soaker hose along the entire length as well. The guy that installed them said not to put anything else but water & to water overnight each day for at least the first month. He also said not to put any peat moss, mulch or fertilizer on them. I looked at a few web sites about cedar trees and most of them mention using mulch & peat moss etc. Any advice on this would be very appreciated. The trench around the 100 trees is now packed down and they have been watered good. Thanks a lot.
