I have an AC unit RUUD model UAMA-036JAZ. It works for about 12 hrs and then by a sudden it stops. The heather fan keeps working but it blows warm air and you don't realize the AC is not working until you go outside and notice that it has stopped. I noticed there is a reset button for the high pressure control and when I press the button the unit starts working again but only for about 12 hrs after that it stops again. What can be the problem?

Could be a dirty condenser coil, I would start there.

If that doesn't do it need to start looking at the cond fan mtr
