I'm trying to change my code on an ademco lynx. Can anyone help? I followed the instructions in the manual but it dosnt seem to work.

master or user code?
for master:
enter current 4 digit master code followed by 8 0 2 then enter the new code followed by the new code again. New code must match and all key stroke entered in a timely manner. IE no more than 3 seconds between button presses
for user code:
enter current 4 digit master code followed by 8 0 3 then enter the new code
for master:

That worked perfectly. Its funny how the actual instruction manual cant be this simple. They wont explain anything in lamens terms. I'm an electrician by trade and still couldnt understand it. Thanks again.
