On home inspection the inspector noted that I need to "Secure Showerhead and Tub Handles to prevent movement." The showerhead wiggles a little when pushed and the handle a little less. Any suggestions on "securing" this plumbing? Thought about just putting some "Great Stuff" in the void if can't some up with another plan.

Great Stuff did the trick. Just pulled the cover plate away from shower head and stuck straw through the hole. Did same thing at the handle. Very stable now. Not convinced this was the best way to accomplish this, but beat tearing into the wall.

Fixing it that way will not last.At some point it will break loose. You're selling so maybe you'll be spared any comeback but one of these days it will have to be redone.
