We've had this unit for many years, so if it's shot, I won't cry. It works fine, as long as you "nudge" the dial along manually -- it doesn't seem to want to move by itself.
This same problem has happened two or three times in the past couple of years, but it always seemed to have cleared itself up within the week before we've even had a chance to worry about it for very long.
Is this simply the timer? If so, is it worth fixing? I've replaced a timer on a dryer, so I should probably be able to handle this if it's similar. If not, I guess it's not worth bringing in a pro, right?
Thanks in advance.
