this is for pro saw mechanics please....I want to replace the entire rotating assembly on my 20 yr old 034, the best midsize saw Stihl ever made.
its got a 46mm bore. Baileys only has a 47mm piston amd cylinder kit for a different model.
Will this fit in there?? They also have an oversize kit at 49mm which includes the cylinder and all.What do you think?? what would you do
if you wanted to rebuild?? Does Stihl make the parts, how much $?
I dont mind customizing.... its interesting.. the saw is still running good, but
its getting old....

You're the one who came in here telling everyone they weren't qualified to talk to you, and then asking if unknown parts would fit your saw. No numbers or anything to go by. A lesson in "Forum Etiquette" might be of benefit to you.

I do not understand what you are referring to by “rotating assembly”. I suggest you go to a Stihl dealer and query them. Stihl makes quality long lasting equipment. Problem I see with older Stihl chainsaws is availability of parts. See if the dealer will clue you in on what parts are no longer available. Base your decision to repair on future parts need.
I installed a new cylinder and piston for a customer a couple of years ago on his beloved 029. Then the ignition coil quit and there were none available.
