Guys, I'm after some feedback.
I've written a book on solar PV power which is going to be available any time soon. To go with the book, I've put together a web site with some solar calculators in it.
The main calculator is a full solar project analysis - you type in some basic information about your project, enter your e-mail address and you get a full eleven page report e-mailed to you that tells you what you'll need, how much it will cost for a DIY installation and even gives you an idea of how long it will take a competent DIYer to install it.
It's designed for 'off-grid' applications rather than grid-tie, although it works for both. If you are considering using solar, or just want to have a play, it should provide you with some useful information.
I'm after some feedback on the solar calculators - do they work, are they easy to use, is the information useful - that sort of thing. Here's the link:
Solar Calculator - solar analysis reports, solar irradiance calculators and solar angle calculators (http://www.solarelectricityhandbook.com/solar-calculator.html)
Oh, and by the way, if you do enter your e-mail address, that information is not recorded anywhere on the site and you don't get plagued with thousands of e-mails afterwards - the information is simply used to e-mail you the report and the data is discarded afterwards. That's a promise!
