Hey all - this is my first time on this forum and I am hoping someone can tell me what next steps I might take to correct this problem.
I just installed a Glacier Bay 100B bathtub faucet and shower head Glacier Bay Builders Single Handle Pressure Balance Tub and Shower Faucet in Brushed Nickel - F1AA4535BNV at The Home Depot (http://tiny.cc/VYpEE) . The main problem is that when I turn the water on without pulling up on the diverter, water starts coming out of the shower head - it seems as tho there is a small amount of pressure pushing the water up the shower and dribbles it out of the shower head.
When I take the spout off and just expose the pipe coming out of the wall, the problem still happens and I notice that when I turn off the water via the handle, the water doesn't immediately shut off. Instead, it slowly shuts off almost as if water is being emptied from somewhere (the pipe going up to the shower head maybe?)
Anyway, I'm not really sure where to go from here - is there something that typically needs adjusting with these set ups? Any thoughts or ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
