my father has to keep kicking it to make it start back up. He pulled it out a little and it seems to have helped it stay on longer were not sure what to do. Dad looked at the blower and said it looked like a replacement blower.

Indoor fan motor? Probably a bad motor run capacitor although the motor could be malfunctioning as well..
