Anybody know if I can mount a Kohler "Devonshire" tank on a Kohler "Memoirs" bowl? I have submitted this question to Kohler via their web site but never got any response. The guys at the local big-box stores just kinda look at me and say "duh ... I guess so". I could just buy the two pieces and try it, and return them if it doesn't work, but I'd rather have some reassurance that it will work before buying.
Oh, and the reason is ... wife really likes the Devonshire tank, but the matching Devonshire bowl only comes in elongated, and that's too big for the tiny powder room where this is going. So basically I need a Devonshire toilet with round-front bowl, which Kohler doesn't make. But since the bowls and tanks are sold separately, I could buy a round-front bowl (like Memoirs) and a Devonshire tank to get the desired appearance -- IF they will fit together.
Anybody know? Done this or similar thing?

It should as long as the bolt pattern is the same. Looking at the Kohler site, the flush valve and all attaching hardware has the same part numbers...so you should be good to go!
Oh...heres the links to the diagrams...

Thanks Gunguy, I hadn't thought of looking there. That gives me some confidence that this should work. Actually, if you look closely at the Devonshire parts drawing, it actually shows a Devonshire tank on a Memoirs bowl!
I think I'll buy the stuff and give it a try. Thanks for the insight.
