I wanted to pass this along because it has made our pool more usable once I started doing it. I bought two lengths of good quality black garden hose and a submersible pump (less than $100). Put the pump in the pool and run the hose to an area that gets alot of sun, then run it back to the pool to circulate the water. The water returning to the pool was substantially warmer than that in the pool. After doing this several times everyone was much happier with the water temperature. For anyone who has a pool that does not get much sun you know how cold the water can be. THE PUMP IS ON A GFCI CIRCUIT AND I ALWAYS MAKE SURE TO REMOVE THE PUMP ANYTIME THE POOL MIGHT GET USED.
