Hi. Found out I cannot wire to the garage. If someone can steer me through the city regs (in MI). Starting in the house, a 20 Amp 1 pole breaker. Using romex, 12-2, black to breaker, white to neutral bar (?), and bare ground to gnd bar..Correct? Then, into crawl and out to splice box(weather proof). Thru 1/2" conduit with 3 wires, 12 awg, blk, wht, grn to GFCI receptacle outlet. From there (Due to distances), same wires to 20 amp a/c only switch weather proof cover, connected to 20 amp twist lock receptacle and cap gfci protected w/cover, raintight while in use. Pump motor w/twist lock plugs into this. Are 2 gfi receptacles necessary, or is the rec that the pump plugs to protected by the first one? Thanks for any info.
