My office gets a lot of dust very quickly, seems like every week I have to dust but it takes a very long time for me to clean each book, wire, component e.t.c, I need something which will clean everything without myself having to move anything, is there such an apparatus please?

Have you tried the Swiffer Duster (http://www.swiffer.com/en_US/duster.do). You can get them at any store that sells cleaning stuff.

You need to take care of the dust at the source. Carpet, Duct, office in a negative pressure, Non HEPA filtered vacuums all can have a major impact on dust.

That brings to mind the room filters. I have a couple around the house, and when they're running, you can actually see the dust being drawn in. Might help cut down the dust at least.

i would agree with airman...filters in the hvac system are not being changed often enough...carpet will also hold a lot of loose dust. So if the carpet isnt being vaccumed enough it will overload and not be able to hold any more.
