There is a space between the cooping and the cement that has a gray bead of "caulking" in it. This has aged and needs to be replaced. Does anyone know where to get this "caulking" and if I need to scrape old out first. This seems to be letting water in under the cooping.

if the old is below grade you wont need to remove, it will take the place of backer rod. there are a few self leveling expansion joint sealants out there. Vulkem makes a good one. Google it and you can compare.
