We have had a water pipe leak that we had to fix. Unfortunately the water pipe sat on top of a duct. We had to cut through the duct top and bottom to access the water pipe. We have the water pipe fixed but now need to know how to repair the holes we cut in the duct work? These are fairly large holes about 1 1/2 feet wide. Please help.

Patch with sheet metal! Use sheet metal screws and duct seal so no air leaks out.
