Don't know who to ask about this.
Very heavy rains, Hall, 3 bedrooms and bath soaked.
Did not come from the ceiling.
As we removed carpet begin to trace path of water.
There is an 8 inch hole (can see the ground) around the drain of the bathtub
2 years ago Hall bathroom tub wouldn't drain
Called a plumber who had to replace drain. Apparantly he cut a hole in the foundation and didn't repair it.
Question #1 Could this cause the water damage?
Question #2 Who do I call a plumber or foundation person?

Yes that could have caused the water problem.
I would call a foundation repair guy as it seems the plumber did not find it a problem when he did it!
