got it - included a 100 ft reel of air hose too !

so it's full of water (2 pints maybe by the sound of the slosh !!!) - opening drain plug at bottom - doesn't drain it ? - any ideas ?

Does air come out when you open the plug? Trying to figure out if you might have a clog.

Open it slowly under pressure or with no pressure in the tank remove the drain valve.

yes - i think you are right - i was opening the bleed with no air pressure - i am going to remove the whole valve and see.

I think i will do this mod - as it will be easier in the future - to get a drain pan under too !

That would be a good idea.
I would try though to make the horizontal run as short as possible.............A long nipple would make it very easy to knock off.
