What kind of fabric?

I like mineral spirits for petroleum based stains but not all fabrics can handle it.

Hi...I have had the same problem many times with different "oily" substances including cooking oil and the only thing I have found is original Dawn dish liquid. You may have to rub it on the spot before washing and rewash a few times depending on the severity of the stain. Hope this helps...
