Hi, I am wanting to know if it is possible to stain the bar ( pictured ) to a darker brown. I am wanting to stain it like a mahogany or a jarrah colour. If so can someone please tell me whats the best way to do it, thankyou.

It's already finished, so staining it a different color would involve stripping the finish and starting over.
The other alternative and what I would probably do is try tinted polyurethane. The problem with that is you have to be very careful to apply it evenly or your color will be darker where you overlapped. Once you have the color you want, I'd apply another coat or two of clear poly so that any wear does not immediately change the color on you.
Oil based poly has a little tint to it, so small changes can often be made with just a couple coats of that. Sounds like you're looking to go quite a bit darker, though.
