I am looking for the smallest infrared grill system for the homeowner who cooks for themselves only and doesnt need a full size stove. I want the real temperatures that IR grills have for proper searing of meats.
the best thing would be a replacement burner for my GE gas stove that is
IR. Anyone make anything like this.??

I've never heard of it, but have always been fascinated with the induction cook tops. You have to use pots and skillets with iron content (no corning ware, revere ware, etc.), but the cooktop never heats up, only the pot sitting on it. It is instantly hot and of course instantly cold. Also instantly expensive.
