This may appear to be a dumb question so I'll apologize before reading. The air brad/stapler says 7/32 crown 18 gauge. Will any 7/32" crown staple work in the gun as long as the length requirements are met. Will any 18 g brad work? What about head type? Will galvanized fasteners make any difference? Will the type of material make any difference? Thanks:wall::wall::o

No question is "dumb", only what you do with the answer. Most all 7/32" narrow crown staples will be 18 gauge. Make sure the length suits your job. Only 18 gauge brads that meet the specs of the gun will work....ie. are they angled or straight? Most brads have negligible heads. Galvanized fasteners will work just fine, although they are not hot dipped, but electro galvanized. Staples won't work very happy in harder woods like oak, but the brads will. You will have a depth adjustment on the gun that will help countersink the fastener if desired, so try it out on scrap wood first.
