I am doing a bathroom remodel and have a shower/tub combo made of acrylic, late 90 style. The tub combo is a dark bone color and would like to change the color to a "Bisquit" color to match the tolit and sink, also new. Should I have a pro do the repaint or is there something out there I can buy, something like a paint kit ? Any recomendations? thx gk

Hi clockmaker,

In my experience, the tub refinishing process doesn't work, no matter if you DIY with a kit or you call a pro.
I saw many "guaranteed" works peel in less than 2 years

In addition, the kits are useless on acrylic

There are several interesting discussions and pictures about this issue in this Forum, just perform a search with the keywords "tub paint"
