Every year without fail this stuff invades my otherwise VERY NICE lawn. I've been told by the Scotts people who do the feeding/weeding care of my yard that there's really nothing that can be done about it. Are they shooting me straight?

I have the same problem... discussed it in detail with my landscaping company last year... also Scotts... they eventually applied something that did kill it off. by the end of the summer, most if not all of it was gone. It died off very quickly once it was sprayed though I'm not sure what they used.

haven't seen any yet but it usually doesn't appear until later in the summer..

good luck.. that stuff is a pain to get rid off. especially once it is established.
