I have tried alcohol and WD40; wd40 got most off but not all.

Suggestions? It is a white toaster!

I've heard - but not tested it - that spray on oven cleaner - the type that goes on cold and without heating the appliance - works. I would try a sample in an inconspicuous spot to be sure it does not discolor the finish before trying it on the problem area.

I thought they came from the manufacturer that way. :oEvery one I have ever owned had "Wonder bread" spelled backwards in full color on the side of the toaster. With kids, anything can happen. Ours is like that, too, but I just turn the toaster the other way.
