Model # L9S00XT just hums.
It filled with water and that's it.
Pulled mtr and read 5.5 ohms at 2 pin plug.
Checked tranny and pump for binding and was OK.
Checked cap with digital meter and it went neg ang pos, so I assume it's OK
Is there a way to check timer?
What else to check?
Joey

What happens if you set the motor on the base and try to run it? What voltage are you getting to the motor? What is actually humming? - the motor? Will the motor run in spin? Can you recheck the model #?

your digital meter probably has a setting to test caps. should read about 275 microfarads.

disconnect motor from gearcase, do not remove hoses on water pump just pull off motor and put to side. lay motor on floor and try to run in spin cycle. While motor off check drive coupler between motor and gearcase. For motor to run lid will have to be closed or lid switch jumped.

I agree with the first answr, probably the coupler between the motor and trans. It is a very common failure.
The replacement part has been reenforced with a steel collar.
Remove the pump with hoses still attached, pull the motor.
You will see a 3 piece coupler, 2 white nylon pieces and a black piece between them.
It will be broken. Replace for under 20 bucks.
There is a video on youtube showing step by step, search for it.
