I just purchased a 2 speed Master Flow 24" Whole House Fan (WHFS24M). Is it possible to wire the fan so that I can eliminate the pull chain and use a wall switch or a variable speed wall switch?

Not too sure what pull chain you refer to, but if you go to MasterFlow Whole House Fans (http://www.gaf.com/Content/GAF/RES1/ROOF/WholeHouseFans.asp?viewer) and scroll down the page, you will see a timer switch that is compatible with your fan. I prefer the timers as it lets you turn it on for an hour or so and not have to remember to shut it down.

The pull chain is simply a two speed switch to set the fan speed - low, high or off. The pull chain switch has three wires - black, white and red. I assume the red is low speed and black is high speed. The accessory you pointed out looks like it would do the trick. I'll check into that. Thanks.
