Hey gang,
This is my first posying here.
I am trying to replace the water pump on a 70 hp evinrude
?? is does the trim tap bolt have to come out to drop the lower unit? The bolt feels like it's gonna break.

I'm having a brain fart and can't remember for shure but I think it does, actually i'm pritty shure it does. I will look and get back to ya tomorrow.

My Merc does so I would imagine yours might well be the same. It's no issue to remove the skag.
