I have a Kitchenaid dishwasher that was leaking around the door bottom. I replaced all the bearings in the bottom spray arm, replaced the complete upper arm assembly, along with the lower door seal and water diverters. Might as well rebuild it all while I'm at it (I thought) now after it fills, when the cycle starts, the fill float will leak maybe 1/16 cup of water, then its fine for the rest of the cycle. (no door leak) I tried, removing the fill float and taping the top of the tube it sits in, letting the tub fill while manually holding the fill switch open, when the cycle starts, no leak, so it has to be comming from that fill float tube. Any Ideas how to stop this ? Every thing seams to be level, (I tried making the back lower but this didnt help)

I have the same problem ... but its a Frigidaire. My door seals seem fine, it just seems to have too much water when I open the door. I figured it may be a drainage problem and took apart the filter, trays, etc and clean them up, but the problem continues. In the past when I opened the dishwasher, the water level was not hight as it is now. What else could be the problem?

At the end of last rinse and drain, is there water in the bottom of the DW? If yes, how much? You may need to repalce the drain impellor is water is being left in the machine or check for an obstruction in the piping. A quick way to tell is to disconnect the drain hose where it connects into the disposal or house plumbing and drain the machine into a 5 gallon bucket. If the draining is lethargic, check the machine. If the DW drains ok, check the plumbing. If I may ask you this, is the machine leaking from underneath the machine or from around the door?
