I have a shower base that has a leak. I have been to Home Depot to buy a peice of liner. They tell me that it is installed under the shower base. Ha Ha I need it confine the water to within the unit, and not under the base. Is their something that i can cement to inside the unit that would save me from buying a new shower base. This would also help me with another shower base which has the same problem. My problem began when a 400 lb person used the unit and well, you figure. Someone must know how to slove the problem. Thanks for any help.

It sounds like the base was not set on a bed of mortar.

Anything at this point that doesn't involve removing the base and correcting the problem is going to be a incorrect repair.

The base of that shower will continue to get worse with spider cracking of the finish that will cause leaking that will make matters worse.
