I'm trying to find out if there is any way to get more power out of a Briggs and Stratton Mower engine. Model #281707. Any info would be helpfull.

What kind of power... torque, HP? Better yet, what are you trying to do? There are things you can do to boost power, like raising RPM, making free flowing exhaust, shaving the head, installing a lighter flywheel, removing the charging system, etc...

Keep in mind that getting more power usually means shorter engine life, more fuel used, and any warantee will be voided.
