unless you know the NAPCO programming- you will not be able to stop that

the communication portion needs to be disabled in programming

hook up the telephone lines, let it connect to the CS - then you will get a handshake that will reset the panel.

let it call them- your not paying for monitoring- if they dont want your calls have them re-program panel- for free

it may send a periodic test signal- as well as any alarms- but if you have none it shouldnt matter- unless they re-issue the account # to another panel- and they get trips from you- thinking its the paying cust. with your acct. #

i dont like the NAPCO programming, but if you have the installers code- i can send you a copy of the programming sheets

yes from the keypad.

is there a copy of the worksheet in the panel?

that panel is from the early 90's, if not late 80's

i would buy a new panel, use the current wires and have a new alarm system, thats easy to program & manage.

keypads & board

they all come whith a new box- if the one up there is bigger & painted around, you could use the old box with the new board.

may have to modify mounting, but it can be done

i prefer the DSC 1832

8 zones out of the box, plus 1 fire zone.

can be maxed out with 32 hardwire or combinaton of wired & wireless

Did you try the default installer code? Press and hold 8 until second beep then press 456789.

If you still want to keep that panel, I have a procedure that will get you into program mode.

Doesn't that dealer code require a jumper to be put in?
