Church building built in 1959. I have removed the 9" tiles in the foyer of my church building. The tiles were starting to pop up.
Now I have the black petroleum based glue on the floor. We want to install glue down commercial grade carpet. Is it necessary to remove the tile glue before applying the carpet glue? I tried removing the tile glue with mineral spirits and a scraper, not fun or effective. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
