I have seen postings regarding the Q6, r11 and the wax motor replacement for the MAH4000. I have found a general wiring schematic for the MAH4000. Does anyone know the location of an electric schematic for the control board.... Thanks

should be a tech sheet in the upper console area

Doc, welcome to the forums! David's right, once you remove the cover on the upper console, it is in a holder inside it. But forget trying to fix the board.

Thanks Gents. The general wiring diagram is there alright but I need a circuit diagram of the PC board. It seems when my Q6 blew it took a few different components than most other posts/ web sites discuss. If I can find the diagram I can likely fix the other stuff. Otherwise the new boards are now $250, yuck.

Have never seen diagrams for circuit boards, usually not repairable in field. good luck if you can find it. keep us posted.

I was going to do the same thing on mine (replace a resistor) I called Maytag to find out what value resistor #86 for instance was. "I dunno, huh huh" was the answer. Inflation has got ya, mine was only $175, but not from Maytag, from an independent supplier.

there is a way you can tell the value of a resistor by looking at the number and color of strips on it. or maybe measure another one on the board with the same markings

Not when it is burned. That was the problem. And there are 20 of them in a row with different values.

....and to think that someone figured out what each and every one of them has to do, while some other people can't figure out how to stop a leak with a wrench.. :coffee:
