Hello, i recently purchased my 1st home and it has this simon xt alarm installed on it, i have a code that disarms it but i need the installer code, i have tried all the defaults in the ge manual with no luck, is there anyway to reset the entire alarm or any idea on what the installer code is

any help is greatly appreciated

To clear the memory (might not be a total memory clear...depends on how certain options were programmed, most don't touch them however, so chances are you'll be OK) do the following....

Unhook the back up battery....
Unplug AC power...
Make sure sure back cover plate is closed (you had to open it to get at the battery)...

Press and HOLD the 4 buttons underneath the LCD display while at the same time powering up with the transformer.

To see if it worked, see if 4321 gets you into system programming....
