I have a weed eater brand xt200. It will start relatively esily, but it only runs for a short while before sputtering out. I have to re-prime the engine and pull the cord a few time before it will start again. This process repeated itself roughly 4-5 time, and not i can not get it to run for any period of time.:madhell:

It is driving my crazy. Please help.

Sounds like the choke might be sticking partly open. Check to make sure everything on the little carb is fastened correctly.
Make sure your mixing the gas / oil 40-1.
How is the spark plug?

check the gas cap. Vent may be plugged.
